Indoor Accomodation Tortoises need to be provided with enough warmth and light even on cool/wet days in summer. This can be done using an open-top tortoise table:  This has the advantage of providing better air flow and ventilation. It is however more difficult to maintain high enough temperatures with this design. The alternative is an enclosed vivarium which may have poor ventilation but can be insulated effectively to maintain a suitable temperature.
